Wilder Creek Fish Littoral

Duz Cho Construction successfully completed the 18-hectare Fish Littoral Habitat project, designed to create alternative habitat in the Site C Reservoir. This habitat was strategically engineered to promote plant growth and support aquatic life after the inundation of the area, which previously featured natural low-water zones.

A total of 250,000 cubic meters of excavated material was carefully placed to optimize the agricultural land base in the surrounding area, in full compliance with regulations and under the oversight of the Agricultural Land Commission. Additionally, all archaeological sites within the project area were thoroughly assessed and preserved. Duz Cho Construction worked closely with the archaeological team, providing support during excavation and review processes to ensure proper documentation and preservation of historical resources.

This project was completed June 2024.
