Red Seal Mechanic (Multiple Positions Available)
Duz Cho is looking for multiple skilled and motivated red seal mechanics in both Chetwynd BC, and Mackenzie

successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the diverse cultures and histories of local Indigenous
communities. They must have demonstrated experience in applying Indigenous knowledge in a professional setting,
adhering to cultural protocols, and working with a culturally safe approach. Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) Calls to Action and a commitment to advancing reconciliation are
essential.
Available Positions: Chetwynd BC
• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic (2) – Shift is 7 days on / 7 days off at $50/hour.
Available Positions: Mackenzie BC
• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic (1) – Shift is 7 days on / 7 days off at $50/hour.
• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic (1) – Shift is Monday-Friday at $50/hour.
• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic on road (1) – Shift is 14 days on / 7 days off at $45/hour.
• Red Seal Automotive Mechanic (2) – Shift is 7 days on / 7 days off at $45/hour.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty equipment and trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
• Repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, drivetrains, and related
components.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service information.
• Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and maintenance records.
• Respond to field service calls in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
• Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain service truck inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all company and industry safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers, operators, and management.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience working independently in field service environments.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and work around heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Red Seal Certificate.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and potentially physical fitness testing.
• Valid drivers licence and clean abstract.
