Fuel and Lube Technician

Duz Cho is looking for Fuel and Lube Technician to join our team at Mount Milligan.

Duz Cho is a 100% Indigenous owned company, with ownership belonging to Mcleod Lake Indian Band. The successful
candidate will have a deep understanding of the diverse cultures and histories of local Indigenous communities. They
must have demonstrated experience in applying Indigenous knowledge in a professional setting, adhering to cultural
protocols, and working with a culturally safe approach. Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of
Canada (TRC) Calls to Action and a commitment to advancing reconciliation are essential.

Fuel and Lube technicians will be critical to ensure that our operation is running smoothly and safely. Operators must be
able to climb vehicles steps, bend, crawl, and carry fuel hoses, and be responsible for the handling and care of hazardous
substances.

This will be a camp position, 14 days on and 14 days off.

Qualifications:

Valid class 1 or class 3 with a clean drivers abstract

5+ years of experience as a fuel and lube technician specifically on Mining or Heavy industrial job sites

Technical knowledge with manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Hitachi, John Deere, Komatsu equipment, ranging
from but not limited to, 30 – 90 ton Excavators, D6 and D8 class Dozers, 45ton Articulated Rock trucks, smooth
drum packers and other mining and support equipment.

Strong environmental awareness in spill-prevention protocols, TDG and WHMIS certificates are required.

Rate will be $30.00 to $40.00 / hr pending on experience.
