Forestry & Pipeline Right of Way Operations Team

successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the diverse cultures and histories of local Indigenous
communities. They must have demonstrated experience in applying Indigenous knowledge in a professional
setting, adhering to cultural protocols, and working with a culturally safe approach. Knowledge of the Truth and
Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) Calls to Action and a commitment to advancing reconciliation are
essential.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Operating forestry and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Meeting daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Working within pipeline right-of-way corridors, access roads, and linear infrastructure projects.
• Supporting clearing, mulching, grubbing, vegetation management, road construction, and site preparation
activities.
• Completing daily equipment inspections and maintaining accurate equipment records.
• Identifying equipment deficiencies and reporting maintenance requirements promptly.
• Following project-specific environmental requirements, Environmental Protection Plans (EPPs), wildlife
mitigation measures, and regulatory requirements.
• Working safely around survey control points, right-of-way boundaries, utilities, and environmentally
sensitive areas.
• Maintaining productivity while operating under schedule-driven project requirements.
• Supporting a positive team culture and contributing to overall project success.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Pipeline right-of-way clearing and maintenance
• Forestry harvesting operations
• Mulching and vegetation management
• Resource road construction and maintenance
• Environmental compliance and EPP requirements
• Working around environmentally sensitive areas and watercourse crossings
• Remote camp operations
• GPS machine control systems
• First Aid Certification
• Ground Disturbance Certification
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
• WHMIS Certification
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and potentially physical fitness testing.

Location: Various project locations across British Columbia;
• Employment Type: Full time; as per site requirements;
• Work Schedule: Shift rotation: 14/7 or 6/1 various rotations to meet project requirements;
• Wage: $30 – $43 per hour based on experience, overtime as required;
• Truck Allowance: Company provided or vehicle allowance;
• Accommodation: LOA or to be provided while working away from home, including meals;
